13 Companies to Exhibit, Seeking to Expand Presence in the Japanese Die & Mold Market

KODMIC plans to participate with a pavilion representing Korea at the Japan International Die & Mold Exhibition (INTERMOLD NAGOYA 2026), which will be held at PORT MESSE NAGOYA in Nagoya, Japan, for three days from May 20 (Wed) to 22 (Fri).

This specialized exhibition is held annually on a rotating basis among Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. This year marks its 5th edition in Nagoya since its debut there in 2018. The Nagoya region is Japan's premier automotive industry hub, featuring a high concentration of global manufacturing corporations like Toyota Motor Corporation. Companies across diverse sectors—including dies/molds, components, tools, machine tools for mold processing, and 3D printing—are expected to participate, fostering vibrant technological and industrial exchange.

The exhibition will span an area of approximately 13,500m² with around 300 exhibiting companies, and it is anticipated to draw about 38,000 visitors over the course of the event.

Together with 13 domestic mold and related companies,KODMIC will organize the Korea Pavilion to broadly promote domestic mold technologies and products, while providing targeted support to yield substantial export outcomes through consultations with local buyers.

To ensure success, KODMIC held a pre-exhibition meeting for the participating companies on April 3 (Fri) in the 3rd-floor conference room of the KODMIC headquarters, sharing essential preparations to optimize counseling and promotional efficiency.

During the meeting, participants were briefed on exhibition details, including the location and operational plans for the Korea Pavilion, alongside post-exhibition follow-up consultations and management strategies. The companies also exchanged views on effective market entry strategies for Japan.

Additionally, Kyeong-gyu Kim, CEO of Abrams Wiki Korea Co., Ltd., introduced a specialized platform designed to enhance exhibition performance by pre-identifying potential buyers and arranging on-site meetings during the event.

Through this exhibition, KODMIC will proactively showcase the technological competitiveness of the K-Mold industry, and continue to aggressively support the expansion of exports to the Japanese market by discovering new buyers.
